Little Flower Assistance Center is a non-profit  that helps men, women and families in need by providing a neighborhood food bank,  a clothing bank, employment resources,  budgeting counseling and referrals to other support agencies in the community. Last year they assisted nearly 21,000 men, women and children in Aurora and northeast Denver.  

The Joy Drive, one of their special projects that we are helping to support this year, benefits children from Aurora Public Schools, Colfax Community Network and Early Beginnings Infant/Preschool Program for teen parents.  The Joy Drive provided gift boxes for 486 underserved students in the Original Aurora area.  At the holidays, the schools chose the neediest students to receive the boxes that included hats, mittens, socks, personal care items, school supplies, candy and a toy.
