July 17th
Rompers (ages 3-6) - Exploring Opryland
A city within itself, the Gaylord Opryland provides a unique hotel experience to Nashville visitors. Rompers will start their day with a boat ride through the hotel while we play a game of “I Spy”, followed by an outdoor scavenger hunt and water play. After we dry off, we will head inside for some fun arts and crafts and lunch. Later in the afternoon, we will have story time and snack in front of the dancing fountains, followed by relay races with prizes.
Adventurers (Ages 7-11) - Tennessee State Museum & Wildhorse Saloon
This newly-built museum encompasses over 137,000 square feet of exhibitions and collections detailing the history of Tennessee. Visitors start by going through a time tunnel to learn about the state’s history, from its early people to Tennessee as we know it today. There are also interactive guides throughout the museum with helpful information and interesting stories. A world-famous staple in Nashville, Wildhorse is a 66,000 square-foot live music and dance destination. Campers will head here for a barbecue lunch and line dancing lessons.

Rompers (ages 3-6) - “...A little bit country”
Put on your cowboy hat and come on down to Camp Cardinal for a day of country music and activities. Campers will enjoy a special interactive music show with country singer Jake Johnson and jam along with their own handmade instruments. In the afternoon, we will cozy up by the campfire for a sing-along, enjoy some snacks, and play some fun party games.
Adventurers (ages 7-11) - Adventure Science Center
With three floors of scientific adventure, the Adventure Science Center features plenty of exhibits to explore. Campers can check out the Adventure Tower, which is a 75-foot-tall climbing experience ending in an observation deck that gives breathtaking views of the city. At the BodyQuest exhibit, kids can take a hands-on approach to exploring the human body, including a ten-foot-tall beating heart. The center has all kinds of displays and activities to make sure campers will be entertained all day long.

Swimsuits needed! Get ready to enjoy a day at SoundWaves waterpark, located at the Gaylord Opryland. This newly-built water park contains over four acres of indoor and outdoor water-based fun. There are rapid and lazy rivers, slide towers, an activity pool with obstacle courses and basketball, and a 315,000-gallon wave pool with a giant LED movie screen. After our fun-in-the-sun, campers will head back inside the hotel for some pizza and a boat cruise.
July 19th
Rompers (ages 3-6) - “...A little bit rock ‘n’ roll”
Get ready to rock out! After exploring country music yesterday, it’s time for a little bit of rock ‘n’ roll. We will start our day by getting rock star ready with Zumba kids. Then, we’ll jam out to Jammin’ with Jaime and dance along to some of our favorite rock hits. In the afternoon, we will decorate our own microphones and play a game of hula shimmy.

July 20th
Rompers (ages 3-6) - Nashville Country Fair
From pigs to sack races, you can take in all kinds of sights at the Nashville Country Fair! Each camper will start their day by making a clay animal to show at the fair and will then vote on their top-three favorites. Then, we will stroll through the fair to play games, pet barnyard friends like pigs and bunnies, and eat yummy country fair treats. In the afternoon, we will award our top-three clay animal winners and celebrate with an end-of-camp dance party.

Explorer (ages 12-17) - Country Music Hall of Fame & Echoes of Nashville Walking Tour
Campers will be treated to a tour of the famed Country Music Hall of Fame, which features exhibits and collections exploring the history of country music from its beginning to today. As you walk to historic locations like the Ryman Auditorium, the Tennessee State Capital, and the Downtown Presbyterian Church, campers will see history brought to life on this guided tour through Nashville. The tour explores how Nashville became a music city and how early settlers shaped the Nashville of today.
