Ancillary Meetings
Meetings in Las Vegas either before or after Worldwide Kickoff are prohibited due to additional cost and logistic challenges. Any expenses submitted for dates on either side of Worldwide Kickoff must only be for pre-approved expenses. Questions can be directed to VMwareAMER@streamlinevents.com.
Meals
All attendees are expected to participate in WWKO sponsored meal functions. The following meals will be provided:
• Monday, March 2: Heavy Reception
• Tuesday, March 3: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
• Wednesday, March 4: Breakfast, 100% Plant Based Lunch*, and Heavy Reception
• Thursday, March 5: Breakfast and Lunch; Dinner is on own and may be expensed within the corporate meal guidelines.
All group meals accommodate dairy free, gluten free, vegetarian, vegan and preferences. Halal options are available at lunches and group evening events.
If you have allergies that may not be accommodated with the group meals, have requested a Kosher meal or are on a doctor prescribed diet, you will be provided with a special meal for lunch and group evening events.
*Wednesday’s lunch will be 100% plant based. By choosing to go meatless for just 1 meal per week you are saving 3.6K gallons of water per year in 2020!
WWKO Hotel Reservations
Attendee Room Charges
As a Worldwide Kickoff 2020 AMER attendee, hotel accommodations (room and tax) are arranged for you and billed directly to VMware for March 2 – March 5. Do not book hotel accommodations on your corporate card. All business incidental charges are billed to your corporate credit card, which is required upon hotel check-in.
Pay On Own Charges
Room and tax are covered for the main event dates. If you are arriving outside of these dates for a personal stay you are responsible for any additional charges. Additional pre or post nights may be paid for by VMware if you require an early arrival or late departure due to flight schedules. Further details can be found on the event website.
Air Travel
AMEX will be on-site and located by the registration/hospitality desks. Flight changes are not permitted. If you encounter a flight delay or cancellation, the airline must provide alternate flight arrangements. You may contact the numbers on your itinerary if you need additional assistance while traveling.
